Desperate Housewives ends with a 2hr long special. And it is jammed pack with surprises. We have the results of Brees trial, a wedding, a birth, return of old faces and ghosts.

First of all, we have Lee, who is selling Susans house. He has got a bum lift lol.
Katherine returns to the lane, bragging about being rich. She moved to Paris and started up her own food company which is about to go worldwide. She comes to offer Lynette a job in the American branch which is located in New York.
Gabrielle is offered a promotion at work and is now making alot of money. She starts buying her husband Carlos expensive gifts when she is late home from work. Carlos realised she is now doing what he done when late home from work. Buying expensive gifts to keep the other happy.
Renees big day arrives but doesn’t start off well. Things don’t go to plan and leaves late for the wedding. In the limo on their way to the wedding, Julies waters break all over the wedding dress resulting in them having to stop at the store where Gabby works to get a new dress. Waiting in the limo is Susan and Julie but as the contractions get closer, Susan steals the limo and drives to the hospital. Renee and Susan then run to the wedding and Renee finally gets married.
Lynette and Tom have a talk and Tom reveals that he still loves her. They get back together and Lynette accepts Katherines job offer and moves to New York with Tom.
As Mrs McCluskys condition gets worse, the housewives decide to take their turn to look after her. When it’s Gabbys turn, Carlos arrives and tells Gabby he is going to admit to the murder. Thinking Mrs McClusky is asleep, they speak about the night of the murder.
The next morning, the day of the trial. Gabby hides a knife in Carlos jacket to stop him at the security checkpoint at the Court. When arriving at Court, Carlos is arrested for having a weapon.
After hearing everything Carlos and Gabby said about the murder. Mrs McClusky begs the lawyer to put her on the stand.
Mrs McClusky is called to the stand. She explains how close of a neighbourhood she lives in, saying how close everyone is with eachother and how they will do anything for eachother. Mrs McClusky explains all about how the man is Gabbys step father who abused her as a child. Mrs McClusky then starts talking about the time she seen the step father sneaking through Gabbys house. She says “everyone knows what he did to Gabby. when i seen him sneaking about the house, I picked up a candle stick and hit him over the head with it and killed him”.
The court room was in shock from the confession including the housewives.
All charges are dropped against Bree and due to Mrs McCluskys illness and the fact she only has a few days to live, no charges are held against Mrs McClusky.
During Renees wedding, Julie has her baby and Mrs McClusky dies peacefully at home.
As Susans house is now sold and the new family arrive, she takes a trip down memory lane as she drives away. She drives down Wisteria Lane while Marybeth tells the story of the memories, the ghosts of Wisteria Lane stands at the side of the road as Susan drives by. These ghosts are people who died on the Lane revealing that secrets will always be kept.
